KITCHEN REMODEL OR RENOVATION
A kitchen remodel can create a fresh look in an older home. There are various levels of kitchen remodels available to consumers from:
Cosmetic Renovation: A cosmetic renovation of a kitchen that may include changing out hardware on cabinets, painting, replacing flooring. It usually maintains the current layout of a kitchen. These are usually the most affordable renovations of a kitchen area.
Renovation of the Kitchen Area: A renovation usually includes a changing out of cabinetry, appliances, flooring, paint, and fixtures, but it usually retains much of the original layout. However, a renovation may involve adding additional cabinetry or removing non-weight bearing walls for renovations to open a space. These kinds of renovations usually require getting a design plan drawn up and permits for any electrical addition or moving of plugs. Additionally, kitchen remodels may involve us coordinating with plumbers to move the plumbing with a permit. Word of caution: Once you open up walls, there is always risk of unknown issues being pointed out that need to be resolved. Additionally, we will not be able to bid on jobs that have structural and layout issues that require architectural plans be filed if one is not in place.
