Most homeowners and investors need to evaluate their remodeling and renovation needs by a few things? First, will your renovations affect safety or structural integrity.  We always advise clients that these area should be evaluated the appropriate professionals. For example, if you are doing a roof replacement; then you should retain a qualified, roofing firm. If there are issues, with your electrical panel box; then you need to retain licensed electricians. As we review your renovation and remodeling needs, we will point out areas that may require us to bring in other professionals.  Second, if your renovations are fairly extensive then we may need to request a designer or architect to provide detailed plans to insure that all aspects of the renovations are considered. Our remodeling team understands that this may not be the cheapest solution, but our firm believes that your home or property is often your largest financial investment and you need to protect the value of this investment. Third, renovations will often require permits for various items, and those permit cost will inevitably increase the cost of your renovation or remodeling project.
